As of today, Blizzard has decided that it’s subscription-based service ‘World of Warcraft Remote’ is going to be free from this point on. This, of course means that from all Android and iOS phones installed with the World of Warcraft Armory app can now access all of the functions. So now remote Guild Chat and Remote Auction House are available to all World of Warcraft subscribers too.
If you’re one of the subscribers that originally paid a little extra for the Mobile Remote services, Blizzard will get in touch with you soon to reward you with seven free days game time and a KT pet- which was always one of my personal favourites. So it’s win-win all round, and now you can check on your auctions and talk to your guild when you should be typing up boring spreadsheets at work or stuck in a dull lecture at school. Hurrah for more free stuff!
