Courtesy of Rising Star Games and , fans of classic shot-em up games will be able to enjoy one of the best, along with some modern upgrades.
Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition will be coming to the PS3 and PSN this fall with improved artwork, textures and shadowing; and dual stick compatibility. Players take up the controls of a helicopter during a fictional war, loosely based on World War II (you’ll be speaking “German” and fighting for the “Empire,” blowing up English speaking dudes that pledge allegiance to the “Union.”)
There will be a 16:9 New Order Mode, which takes full advantage of HD TV screens. In addition, players can use a practice mode to play specific levels if they are having trouble figuring out the best way to tackle them.
Also included are some cool little gifts to celebrate the re-release of the original, which came out in 2006 for Dreamcast:
- Digital art book
- All current DLC and patches
- Soundtrack CD featuring tracks from the New Order Mode
-Letter from G.rev CEO and Under Defeat Executive Producer Hiroyuki Maruyama

The game was previously released for both 360 and PS3 as Under Defeat HD but not in America. It’s finally arrived in the States, but only for PlayStaion.
