Price Drop On Kinect

August 22nd, 2012 by Nickie Williams

The Microsoft Kinect has seen a permanent price drop for all of you out there that like to dance in front of your tv or do yoga poses. Or maybe you’re the kind that likes to slay things with an imaginary lightsaber whilst wearing your bathrobe. Don’t be ashamed, I’ve done it too as my bathrobe is black.

It was $149.99 and is now $109.99 in the US. The rest of North America will also see the price drop, as well as Latin America  and the Asia Pacific regions. Also, on the 4th of October- Australia and New Zealand will also get to join the price drop party.

Sadly though, no price drop on the cards as of this time for either Europe or Japan. Why are they undertaking such a massive price slash? Usually, this only happens with a console company when they are about to release new hardware- so is it possible that Microsoft are planning this very task sometime in the near future? Let’s hope so- oh and keep your fingers crossed for the rest of us to get the price drop too.
