MineCon 2012 to be Held at Disneyland in Paris

After last year’s success with MineCon in Las Vegas, Mojang has announced that Minecon 2012 will be held in Europe at Disneyland Paris. Notch tweeted a trailer earlier today that revealed this years MineCon location. In the trailer he tweeted, Markus “Notch” Persson mentioned to Jens, lead Minecraft programmer and designer, that things have become a odd around the Mojang office recently. Notch agrees with this as the camera pans around the Mojang office revealing the developers wearing a ton of Disney paraphernalia. Between Mickey Mouse gloves, Minnie Mouse Ears and a backpack we have some sort of hint that MineCon 2012 will be at Disneyland.

A moment later Persson says, “Fine, we’ll have MineCon at Disneyland Paris.”

The event will open on the 24th and finish up on the 25th of November.
