Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Features Asura and Sylvari Races

The Asura and nature-fanatics known as the Sylvari will be a playable race in the upcoming beta weekend on July 20th through the 22nd. I’m sure the servers will be flooded with little asurans. If you haven’t gotten in the beta already, the playable races have been limited to the human, charr and norn.
Essentially the Sylvari are global warming enthusiasts if you think about it. They live in a Grove or a forest rather and from a book I read, apparently they ponder death because they find it “interesting”. If you like pondering death, enjoy hugging trees, living in a grove and eating like a vegetarian this race is definitely for you. Me? I think I will just stick with the small but brilliant, Asura.
The Asura race is much like the gnomes you’ll find in World of Warcraft. Small, but brilliant and high tech. They also seem to create Golems to do all their heavy lifting for them, which is awesome.
You’ll be able to play these characters up to level 20.
A new Guild-Conquest PVP map will also be added for the beta weekend.
