What’s The Price?
Are you looking forward to playing on the new Nintendo Wii U? Well, you might be in luck to know that different places on the Internet keep posting exciting prices for the Wii U. Nintendo told us all at E3 that we would be pleasantly surprised at the price of the next generation console and so far- it seems like we will be! Today, Amazon posted a price on their UK website of £199 ($310), which is a good £80 ($124) cheaper than the first price of £280 ($440). That price tag was posted by a company called ShopTo.
A disclaimer on their website reads “PLEASE NOTE: All information on this product page, including our price, is subject to change. Normal pre-order price promise does not apply to this product at this time. Price may change pending full details from Nintendo.”
There is no kind of disclaimer posted on the Amazon website. Nikkei on the other hand is posting a price range around ¥30,000 – which works out at £250 ($380).
Also, in other news- Amazon is also posting a release date of July 2012. That seems a little soon to me, as we were told at E3 that they were shooting for the holiday season of Christmas. But I guess it’s all just a case of ‘Watch This Space!’ at the moment.
