Hero Academy For iOS Headed to Steam With TF2 Squad

You’ve probably seen the silly game, Orcs Must Die! created by Robot Entertainment and should be fairly excited for it. If your not, they’ve also made a turn-based iOS game called Hero Academy which will be coming to Steam.. A price has not been announced yet. Eurogamer noted two major things about this game coming to Steam which I think is pretty dang amazing.
The first thing they noted is that the Steam version of Hero Academy will include an exclusive Team Fortress 2 squad. Once the squad is unlocked on your Steam account, you’ll also be able to play it on your iOS device too. Valve must see some promise in this game for them to allow that, even encourage it. Or they’re just chill like that.
The second thing Eurogamer said is actually really cool and pretty amazing. Even though Hero Academy is coming to the PC you will also be able to play cross platform on the iOS. I don’t know how they will do that, but that’s a pretty amazing feature.
Hero Academy is slated for a release to Steam this year on August 8th and again, with no price announced as of yet.
