CEO 2012 is Underway, Tune In!

Anyone that has ever picked up a controller or a stick to toss some Hadukens at their friends should set aside some time this weekend to check out possibly one of the biggest Fighting Game Community events happening this season before EVO lands.

Taking place over the rest of the weekend, CEO 2012 (http://ceogaming.org/) is underway and is only going to be heating up as more players get knocked out and we get closer and closer to the finals. Every current fighting game from Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Skull Girls, Soul Calibur V, and more are being represented by some of the best players in the world!

Even Diago Umehara (famous for his 3rd Strike full-parry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS5peqApgUA) is coming out to compete, his first match in the United States since EVO 2011. It’s going to be a very,very hype event.

Featuring a payout system where the top 10% gets paid guaranteed, everyone has a shot at making money.

The real fun will start tonight at 6:00 p.m., when the finals for BlazBlueCS:EX and Tekken 6 will start. Following that, Skullgirls will be up next with KoFXIII finishing up the night.

Tomorrow the finals will be starting early. Soul Calibur V at 12:00 p.m., Mortal Kombat 9 at 2:00 p.m., with the bigger name games starting later in the evening.

The big finale will definitely be Super Street Fighter 4: AE 2012, where Diago is likely to be competeing for the 1st place prize money.
