100 Atari Games Free on iOS and Android Today, Thursday, June 28th Only

June 28th, 2012 by Brad Ward

For the 40th anniversary of Atari, they are giving 100 games away for free on iOS and Android which will normally cost you around $10. The games are within an app calledAtari’s Greatest Hits. All of the games are based on the classic versions that were made for the Atari 2600 many years ago. Thankfully, all the games in the app are listed in alphabetical order for your convenience.

The games will only be free as long as you don’t uninstall or reinstall the app. After a uninstall or reinstall you will have to pay the full price for the games. I am not one hundred percent sure, but if you claim the app via Amazon’s app store, it should be on your Amazon account permanently and therefore should be able to uninstall and reinstall at any given time without any future payments. Don’t hold me to it, though.

Excuse me while I go back to playing Pong and maybe Asteroids.
