Earlier this week, we reported on a rumored $99 Xbox 360 with Kinect deal and now Microsoft has made it official. For customers of Microsoft Stores, you now have the option of purchasing an Xbox 360 with Kinect for $99 with a two-year Xbox Live Gold committment at $14.99 per month.
Like we discussed earlier, this deal does come out to be about $40 more than if each item were purchased individually under normal prices, but it’s an easy way to get an inexpensive new console with Kinect and Xbox Live. Of course, the caveat is the fact that this deal is only available at Microsoft Stores, of which there are only a handful of. If you want to see if a Microsoft store is near you, check the Store Locater here and jump on this deal while you still can.
